Spring Canyon Studios is committed to providing eco-conscious products that support a sustainable lifestyle. We also promise to use materials, manufacturing processes, and business models that are wise, appropriate, and sustainable.

PHILOSOPHY / VISION

"Reduce, reuse, recycle" is part of our lifestyle and we believe it is also part of yours. Beginning in 2009, Spring Canyon Studios will present simple products with lasting value that are beautiful, fun, and stylish, and reduce consumer waste in everyday goods like shopping bags and wrapping paper.

We hope you'll want carry our beautiful and bold reusable cotton bags with you everywhere-not just the grocery store-to reduce the impact of "limited reuse" plastic and paper bags. We'll show you how new traditions of gift giving with our elegant reusable eco-gift wraps can reduce tons of non-recyclable wrapping paper trash that clogs landfills.

COMMITMENT

Spring Canyon Studios is committed to supporting local economies, and to the sustainability of regional vibrancy. To that end, we will locate all production and operations within a 30 mile radius of Boulder, Colorado. We see this as a way to reinvest in a place that has nurtured us, to know and directly impact the people who sew for us, to insure that our production is sweatshop-free, and to keep our carbon footprint low.

We will be transparent about where our products come from. Spring Canyon Studios bags and wraps are fully assembled and sewn in the US because we believe in the need for a resurgent American textile industry and we want to do our part.

We are proud to support the emerging organic cotton textile industry. We expect that sources for organic materials will become broader and better. If the organic food business is an example, we know will take time, and we're starting now.

We are committed to all of this because we know that there are different shades of green, just like in a healthy, lush spring canyon in Colorado.
